In this documentary, Dr. Boldsaikhan teaches Sas Carey and Kathleen Scacciaferro, the first two Westerners to learn traditional Mongolian medicine.
Now all three have taught courses at the University of Vermont and use Mongolian medicine to harmonize with Western medicine. Dr. Boldsaikhan is a professor at the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. Kathleen Scacciaferro is a school nurse and teacher of Healing Touch. Sas Carey, RN founded Life Energy Healing School and Nomadicare, an NGO working to support the health and cultural survival of Mongolia’s nomads.
